Rebirth & Renewal

Today is the day we enter into our number 6 energy month. “So what”, you say? Well, if you paid any attention to the energy last month, it was actually preparing you for this month. Did you notice a lot of chaos in your life in May? Did things not seem to be going your way? Did you notice more struggles than usual? Or did you follow the weekly plan I laid out for you in each of my blog posts, so that you could start making the necessary changes needed within your life?

Well, if you’re the few who actually implemented changes, congratulations! That means that even the slightest change, changed your energy vibration, especially if that change was for your best and highest good. Even if you didn’t feel the shift, it still occurred. And as long as you stuck with it, that vibrational frequency would continue to shift for you. Now, if you slipped backwards, you might just find yourself where you began, which is not always a bad thing. Sometimes things have to be so bad that you can’t do anything BUT make a change. It’s not always fun to have it happen that way, but sometimes it’s necessary.

With change comes a rebirth of sorts, a renewal of yourself. Kind of like starting all over again…you get a “do over”, only this time you can take what you learned from past mistakes, and move in another direction. Like a Phoenix (you know, that mythical bird I always like to reference), you get to start all over again. So how do you want your new life to look?

The best part about this energy in June is that the focal point is on home and family. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be your immediate family or your birth family. There are a lot of people who have a close knit group of friends, and that happens to be their family. Whoever your family is comprised of, that’s going to become a big focus for you this month. On the topic of rebirth and renewal, maybe some changes need to be made to your family. Remember, the only one you can change is you. The rest either falls away naturally or they get up to speed and are right there by your side. Why?

Because of where you’re vibrating. So keep those vibrations high this month – and be grateful for what comes your way – hence even more awesome and amazing things will naturally happen. This is the time…rebirth and renewal!

Setting Personal Boundaries

Since Personal Freedom is one of our number 5 energy focuses, I want to bring something to your attention. One major necessity when it comes to personal freedom is all about setting personal boundaries. How are these two things connected? Well, personal freedom is being free to do what you want, which happens to be what makes you happy. Others can infringe on that personal freedom, simply by wanting you to do what they want, which may not correspond to what you really want. So it may be necessary to set personal boundaries. That way it prevents you from being angry, or resentful, when you put your wants on the back burner, so as to ensure others get what they want first.

You may think this is being childish, or maybe even selfish. But let me ask you one very important question? When you always do what everyone else wants you to do, you do realize that in essence you’re giving away your personal power (which we went over a couple of weeks ago in my blog posts for this month of May). And you remember what happens when you do this right? If not, then maybe you need to revisit my “Personal Power” blog post.

So let me digress for a moment. The term selfish really gets a bad rap. So let’s study that word for a minute. “Self”, meaning it’s all about you. And “fish”, well, maybe that’s all about obtaining something – like going fishing. Or maybe not. One way I like to view selfish, is by rewording it and using the term self-care. Doesn’t sound so bad that way does it? You care about you – so what could be so wrong with that? Or you take care of yourself….do you see anything wrong with that? Newsflash!!! If you don’t take care of you, nobody else is going to do it for you (nor do they have as much of a vested interest in your health and well-being as you do).

When you focus on your own personal freedom, it’s ensuring you’re free to do what makes you happy, what makes you healthy, what ensures your overall health and well-being. So suffice it to say, that may require you to set some boundaries around those individuals who (for a lack of a better phrase), suck the very life out of you. Know anyone in your life who fits that bill? So why do you put up with it? Are you a sucker for punishment? I don’t believe so. I believe what you truly lack is the guidance and direction in which to set personal boundaries without coming off as being mean.

Ok, let me share with you that the minute you do something that’s putting you first, well, if you’ve rarely done it, then the people in your life are probably going to react in one of two ways, especially if it means they don’t get what they want. Either they’re going to be angry – as in how dare you put me on the back burner and yourself first! I know, that sounds so rude doesn’t it? NOT! Keep in mind that their “reaction” to this is just that, they’re not thinking about you, their thinking only of themselves and hey, they’re not being put first, so its going to put them out. Or, they’re going to be surprised into shock, because clearly this is not how you behave. They may not even say anything the first time, they might even let it go. The only way you’re going to know how they will behave is to give it a try and see. If they’re important people in your life, they will understand that you are important too, and they will respect your wishes and decisions. And if it doesn’t necessarily agree with their decisions, they’ll either discuss it with you (like someone who has the utmost respect for you), or they’ll pick a fight with you (because they really don’t care, it’s all about them and they don’t want that to change.)

At this point, you may be thinking, “I don’t want to rock the boat, I don’t want to make waves.” It’s ok, until you’re ready for a change, things are going to stay exactly where they’ve always been in your life. And if the word “stagnant” resonates with you, then you realize that by doing nothing, you will remain treading water…and going nowhere.

Today’s final tip: take baby steps when setting boundaries. Think about this…do you spend more time making sure everyone else is having a great life or great time and you’re not? What’s one thing (or even one person) that this occurs all the time with? Start there or with them. Start tweaking how much you do for them, you don’t have to take yourself away from their neediness cold turkey, but even gradual steps will get you one step closer to doing the things that make you happy. And remember, this is not about punishing them, it’s about caring for you and your health and happiness! It’s about making you and your life priority number 1!

Surrender and Release

Since last week I talked about giving your personal power away, that’s not what’s meant by surrender and release. Surrender and release is all about the journey, not the destination. So when you think in terms of your end destination (what it is you truly want in your life), that’s where you want to be. What you need to learn to surrender and release is the actual “HOW” you’re going to get there.

At this point you might be asking, why you should surrender and release how you get there. Well, the Universe has a plan for you, and it requires you to be completely open and ready to receive whatever abundance they want to help you achieve. Yes, I said help you, not do it for you, because you have to want it. But think about what you want and why you want it. That’s the difference between going at this from a sense of lack or a sense of abundance.

You generally want to try to control things, it’s in your nature. If you have control over it, you believe you’ll reach it. But what if there’s more to it than that? Do you see how easy it is to give up if it doesn’t happen how you wanted it to, or when you wanted it to? It all boils down to divine timing. The Universe knows when it’s a good time, and it can bring things about in a totally different manner than you would have ever imagined it coming to you.

When you can learn to surrender and release the outcome, you can be open and ready to receive what is meant to come to you, and more importantly when it’s meant to come to you. Let’s call it having blind faith. Now there’s a challenge for everyone. Can you truly acknowledge that you have it? Can you believe in something that you can’t touch or see? Can you just go through life knowing that there’s something better out there for you, and all you have to do is wait for it to happen? Well, most people struggle with that theory.

Are you considered “most people”?  Do you struggle with this theory because past experiences haven’t shown you that it can happen? Do you struggle with it because that’s not what or how you were taught to believe? Do you struggle with it because you’ve never seen anyone else have it happen to them? Know this, just because you struggle with all those things, doesn’t mean it can’t happen, it just means you’re not open to allowing it to happen. You’re not ready to surrender and release.

And that’s ok. You have to be ready for this kind of journey, because it’s going to take patience, it’s going to take perseverance, and it’s going to take you releasing control over how it happens or comes to you. Just stay focused on the end result, what it is that you want, and let the rest all fall into place. Don’t go looking for it, don’t try to map it all out as to what has to happen and when for you to receive the very thing you want so badly. And above all else, think about (and keep your mindset here), why do you want what it is you want?

The why is really important in this whole process. If you had to make a list of 5 reasons why you wanted what you want, you might find that all 5 reasons come from a place of lack. Hence, the reason you haven’t received it yet. When you can turn it around, and make the 5 reasons about what your life would look like if you had the very thing you wanted (and make those 5 reasons positive in nature, not negative), you’ll know the exact feeling I’m trying to explain to you.

Last little tip: When you can feel it, all the positives that would come into your life as a direct result of having the very thing you wanted, this is the energy you want to remain present in your life until you actually have the life you want. So if it’s money, think about everything you’d spend it on vs. all the debt you’d get out from under. If it’s a new job, think about what you’d be doing in that role (that would make you so happy you look forward to coming to work everyday) vs. it just being a way to get away from the one you hate, or that doesn’t pay you enough, or where they don’t appreciate you. Are you catching on, this is really simple, but it does require you to have blind faith (and don’t put a timeline on it). Just know it will happen, keep your mindset on how your life will look when it happens.

Use this number 5 energy month (that’s all about surrender and release) and manifest away!!!

Where is your Personal Power?

Do you have it? Or have you given it away to someone else? Not sure?

Here’s how you’ll know if you don’t have it, and that more than likely you’ve given it away:

  1. Someone else is to blame for what happens in your life.
  2. You don’t do things for yourself, someone else is doing it all for you (hence the reason it’s so easy to blame someone else when things aren’t going so well for you).
  3. Someone is controlling you, your decisions, and your life.
  4. Your life literally sucks!

Let’s step back a moment. It is possible that maybe you don’t know what Personal Power is. And if that’s the case, this will help you to both identify it AND figure out where it went (or whom you gave it to).

Personal Power is just that, it’s your own power, your ability to make decisions on your own, to take responsibility for your own actions, it’s what makes you feel free (and not trapped in life). It’s YOU controlling YOUR life!

Now that you know WHAT it is, let’s see if we can track down WHERE it is, WHO might have it, WHEN they took it (or when you gave it to them), and WHY.

When you own your personal power, you are very strong. Not physically per se but mentally and maybe even spiritually. You see, you don’t care what others think about you when you’re in your own personal power. You make the decisions that are going to affect you, you don’t let others think for you. You’re living the life you want to live, because that’s where you’re happiest. And you’re generally healthier because you take care of you, you don’t rely on others to do it for you. Do you know who the number 1 person is that has your BEST interests at heart? YOU!!!

Do you see by that description alone, how easy it is to take a back seat in your life and give someone else control of it? So to get it back, you first have to figure out who you gave your power to. And I won’t say it’s all your fault, as people can take your power away as well (but the bottom line is, you allowed it to happen). The good news about that, is that you can always take it back. It’s yours silly goose!

Once you figure out who took it (or who you gave it to), then you can figure out a timeline of when this happened. Maybe it was a gradual, where over time you didn’t even realize where it had gone. Kind of like weight (you don’t gain it overnight, it happens little by little over time, if you don’t keep an eye on it). Why is it so important to follow that timeline and figure out when it began? Because it will help you prevent it from happening in the future (once you take it back that is).

Now, let’s look very closely at why you ever let go of your personal power to begin with. It’s easy to do you know. Life gets difficult sometimes, that it’s very easy to let someone else make the decisions, control things, and you can just sit back and relax. Except you’re not relaxed are you? This is maybe even starting to stress you out, because hey, what do you know, your awareness of your life is being brought to your attention now. How did it get all turned around where it almost feels like you’re a zombie just existing?

Good news again….you can start participating in your life again. And only one thing needs to happen, you need to take back your power and control over your own life. You consciously have to make the decision that you want to LIVE, not just exist. I know this sounds so simple, right? And it can be, but it takes courage (another number 5 energy to take advantage of this month.) You just have to want the personal freedom (another number 5 energy to take advantage of this month) that goes along with taking your personal power back, so badly, that nothing else matters.

On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being not at all and 10 being extremely. How important is your personal freedom, taking back your personal power, and living your life at this moment?

Last little tip:  Everything doesn’t have to become a conflict when making changes in your life. Remember, as you start to change (especially for the better), those in your life will do one of two things – they will naturally fall away or they too will like this new you and want to change themselves. Don’t do this for them, though. It’s not about them (it’s ALL about YOU!).

The Energy of a Number 5 Month

Are you aware that different numbers contain different energy? When you are aware of the energy around you, you can sometimes identify with it, or go one step further, and make decisions or take the steps necessary during a time when it will be most beneficial for you.

In this case, we’re in the 5th month of the year, and part of the energy around the number 5 is about destruction and change. I know the word destruction sounds so Armageddon, but when you think of a Phoenix, think about what happens. Although it’s considered a mythological creature, it’s a bird that in essence dies by going up in flames, and then is reborn again as a bird. “Out of the ashes, new life will arise.”

Destruction does not necessarily have to have a negative connotation, it can also be very positive. For example, the death and rebirth of a life that maybe you’re no longer happy in.  You see the key component to destruction is actually “change”. Change is another word that sometimes has a negative connotation, but this too doesn’t have to be the case.

When you fight change, it can make things harder to accept or deal with. When you embrace change, you see the positives that can come about as a result vs. focusing solely on the negatives. Is change easy? Not always, but with all things, how you choose to act (or re-act) is what’s going to dictate how you actually “deal” with it.

It really boils down to a frame of mind. When you’re someone who likes to always be in control, change can sometimes make you feel like everything is out of control. It’s often so hard to just surrender and release the way you get to the ultimate outcome. I know to some, that feels like flying by the seat of your pants. But if you could just trust in the Universe and know that it has a master plan for you (one maybe you’re not even aware exists yet), it could actually be fun or exciting getting there.

You can’t grow if you’re not willing to change. I’m not saying you have to go through a complete and utter transformation (for some that may be just what they want to have happen), but to others that can be some pretty scary stuff. So take it slow, make little tweaks to your life, gradually get there. Just don’t stop somewhere along the way (especially when it starts to get tough) because you’ll never really know how close you are to the ultimate destination, unless you keep going and stay committed.

Think first about what you might like to be different in your life (or maybe you want a whole new one). Now think about all the things that would have to change for you to achieve that life. Now pick a task, maybe start with something small and simple. Make it about baby steps if you have to. Work on it, watch things as they begin to transform. Then proceed to the next item (and you don’t have to do them in order either, otherwise you’re back to wanting to control “how” it happens – and that’s the part you need to release and surrender to).

But whatever you do, stop putting your happiness on hold by wanting things to be different but either doing nothing about it, or worse, waiting for the other person to change (because that’s NOT going to happen). This is ALL about you, you’re the only one in control of you (or at least you should be, otherwise you’ve given your power away – I won’t go into that here, that will be covered in my blog post next week).

Last little tip:  Ask for your change to come with grace and ease (that always helps and certainly can’t hurt).

Accept or Pass?

No we’re not playing a TV game show where I ask you a question and you either accept (and give me an answer), or you pass (and let someone else answer). Actually in this case what I’m really asking is do you accept responsibility for your actions or do you pass the buck onto someone else, in the form of blame or excuses?

You may see nothing wrong with this scenario, or maybe you truly do believe yourself to be the victim (which makes it very easy to shift the blame to others), or maybe you don’t even realize what you’re doing or the harm you’re causing yourself. Yes, this is actually hurting you. If you continue to pass vs. accept responsibility for everything that has happened, is currently happening, or has yet to happen in your life, you are never truly able to learn the lesson and move forward.  It’s kind of like treading water, you don’t go anywhere, but it can actually become very exhausting for you and everyone around you.

Who cares if it exhausts everyone around you? Well, you should care. It’s great when you have a friend you can turn to, a family member to confide in, or even a co-worker to complain to. But what happens when it’s the same story over and over and over again? Well, to be perfectly honest with you, it gets old. Nobody wants to keep hearing the same complaints, the same sob story, the same excuses for why your life continues to go in the same direction and never improves. Or maybe it improves for a little while, but then you slip right back into the same scenario all over again.

Until you realize that your life isn’t going to change until you do, well you may find yourself without anyone to turn to, because they just got tired of hearing about something you’re never going to change.  Stop sitting back wanting, hoping, or wishing for the other person in your drama to change. They’re there for one simple reason. Because you refuse to remove them from your life.

Sometimes we have to take a stand for ourselves, our lives, and our happiness. Stop putting your happiness on hold waiting for the other person to make a change. Unless you’re strong enough to take the bull by the horns, you’ll find yourself in the same boat, the same life, the same scenario this time next month, this time next year, maybe even forever. Is that really where you want to be (for any extended period of time)?

To make things easier to shift your energy, to start making those changes, to be strong enough to commit, go through with it, and then stick with it, sometimes you just have to “time” it right. In this case, when you need to make a clean break, a complete and thorough break away from someone or something, you need to utilize the energies that are all around you. One way in which to do that is to use the energy from the moon.

When the moon is in Scorpio, is the best time to end something completely and thoroughly. Don’t know when the moon will be in Scorpio? Well, it happens in May. On the 9th and 10th to be exact. The 10th actually falls on the Full Moon in May this year. Now I caution you, the Full Moon has a way of affecting emotions in such a way that they can be very volatile.  And you can feel those affects up to 5 days prior to the Full Moon and up to 5 days following the Full Moon.  If you’re a Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn or Pisces, these two days are favorable for you (if that helps you to make the decision).

The thing you need to ask yourself is this. When you look back on your life, last month, last year, maybe it’s been several years that you’ve been putting up with this, are things really any different in your life by having done nothing? Now where do you think your life will be next month, next year, or several years from now if you continue to do nothing? I certainly hope this helps you to make the commitment to you – as you and your health and well being, and you and your happiness SHOULD be the most important things in your life right now. And if they’re not, well you have no one to blame but you. So accept……it will be a pivotal moment that will define the rest of your life.

Spring is FINALLY Here!

For those of you who share my love of winter (not), you’re probably as happy as I am about today being the 1st day of Spring! Yeah!!!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I like living someplace where there’s four seasons. What I don’t like is when I feel the temperatures start to rise and grass getting green, and you can’t forget the little flowers sprouting or even the buds coming out on the trees and then…..BAM! Old man winter dumps almost a foot of snow on you.

Yep! I’m ready to say “Sayonara, Old Man Winter”, “Hello, my beautiful Mother Nature!”

I don’t know about you, but my world has been spinning this month. So much going on out in the Universe, the energies that keep shifting, and it’s got me feeling pretty much overwhelmed and exhausted. I just want to sit back and take the time to smell the flowers (if they’d ever come out to be enjoyed, lol).

Sometimes we just have to put our foot down and say, “That’s it, I need a break, and I’m taking one.” Which is basically why I’ve almost disappeared this month. Too much going on, no energy to get done what I want to get done, but thankfully I’ve been healthy – so it hasn’t affected me in a negative way. I’m listening to my body and when it says “rest”, I’m all ears! It really is all about stepping back, taking your power back, and doing what feels right to you.

So take the time to enjoy Mother Nature, and all she has to offer you. The sunshine, the little flowers sprouting up around you. All the colors of Spring. Take time out of your funk, your busy day, your chaotic lifestyle, and just chill! Enjoy!

What’s LOVE Got To Do With It?

LOVE is everything! That’s what it’s got to do with it!

It’s not always about romantic love you know. It’s about loving yourself.  It’s about loving others; like your family, your friends, your neighbors. It’s about loving what you do!

Do you have any idea how powerful love really is? Well, you need to, as it can change the dynamics of your life, the entire planet and the Universe! Yes! It’s that powerful.

Love is the highest possible frequency that you can vibrate with. And obviously, fear is at the opposite end of that frequency. Can you imagine what a world this could be if we all were vibrating from a place of love? There’s be no hate, no anger, no negative emotions at all!

So, if you’re not there from a vibration perspective, here’s 7 little (and simple) tips to  help you get a little bit closer on that sliding scale.

Tip 1. Try to find your “happy place”.

This would be someone, something, someplace that when you think about it, it actually makes you smile. Even if it was a distant memory, that’s ok too, whatever will shift that vibration closer to the positive and further away from the negative.

Tip 2.  Don’t get drawn into the “drama”.

Drama is what it is. It’s negative energy at its worst! Why? Because when we allow ourselves to get “sucked in”, we gravitate towards even more drama. It may not have even been your drama to begin with, but when you participate in it with others, you make it your drama.

Tip 3.  Smile…..Alot!

Smile at yourself in the mirror, actually like what you see. Smile at total strangers (and don’t wait until they smile first), make the effort, put yourself out there. You never know who needs a smile right now in their lives. Make their day, and in turn, when they return the smile, it will make yours too. And you know what? If they don’t smile back, don’t get discouraged, they’re only 1 in a million, try it again!

Tip 4. Don’t try to take on the world.

Everyone’s problems don’t need to be your problems. Understand that there are people out there who like to be miserable. Let them be, but don’t let them bring you into their “circle of misery”. Misery is a choice, understand and respect that, but it doesn’t have to be your choice.

Tip 5. Laugh!

Laugh at yourself, at a sign you see on the side of the road, at a joke someone tells you (even if you don’t get it), watch a funny movie. Laughter makes you live longer, so go for it, give it a try (it really does feel good)!

 

Tip 6. Stay away from negative people!

Negative people will bring you down. Make it a point, to steer clear of negativity if you want to stay in the positive. Negativity is a strong emotion, know (and set) boundaries around those family, friends, or co-workers you know to be negative. Set the example for them about how happy you are. And if that has them pulling away from you, that’s ok, it just means they don’t want to make any attempt to change how they look at life. Again, it’s all about choices.

Tip 7. Say “I Love You”.

Who should you say this too? Anyone you want, even to yourself. Before you go to bed at night, say “I love you” to yourself (and insert your name). For example, “I love you Pam!”. When you wake up and you’re looking at yourself in the mirror to brush your teeth, after you finish brushing, say “I love you” and again, insert your name. When you get finished talking to people on the phone (your family for instance), say “I love you” before you hang up.

Hope these tips help you to spread the love, and raise your vibration.

Go With The Flow!

What does that statement mean to you? “Go with the flow”

Does it mean people expect you to get on board their bandwagon and do what they’re doing?

Does it mean you should stop fighting and just give up?

Does it mean you’re too high strung and you just need to chill out?

Believe it or not, the term “Go with the flow” is a term referred to in nature. Bodies of water with movement, like a river or a stream have a natural flow to them. There’s going with the current and then there’s going against the current. If you compared your life to nature, are you going against the current, or are you going with the flow of the current?

It’s simple really. What I’m asking you is are you fighting life every step of the way (fighting change, fighting among yourselves, fighting the “inevitable”)? Or, are you allowing life to come to you (no matter how it looks) and accepting it with grace and ease? This is the difference between vibrating from a place of fear, and vibrating from a place of love.

So many people are under the impression that when they’re told to just go with the flow, that it means they can’t have an opinion (because it may differ from others), or that they shouldn’t stand up and fight for what they believe in, or basically that they’re being told to just “Shhhhhhhhhhhhh! Nobody Cares!”, when in actuality that’s not what going with the flow means.

So think about where you are in your life right now. Are you vocalizing the SSDD “Same S#*@, Different Day” story of your life? You know, the one where it’s the same old stuff you complain about (but never actually do anything about it to change it). I hope that you realize that when you keep telling “that story”, it gets old. You are actually viewed as someone who just likes to complain. Why? Because you never actually take any steps to make the changes necessary, that would enable you to start telling a different story. It actually keeps you stuck in that rut you call your life.

And when you give your opinion on a matter, think about who that opinion is important to – the answer to that should be You! It may not matter to others, but it does to you. I would encourage you to make sure that your opinions are backed up with facts. That way you seriously won’t care one way or the other if they differ from other people’s views and that you’re not just another lemming following the crowd, which is getting ready to jump off a cliff. Just because the masses believe it doesn’t make it right or wrong. The masses follow the internet (and we ALL know that everything on there is clearly not always correct).

Fear equals chaos. Love equals peace. Clearly, the masses right now are all living in fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of change, fear of how it will affect them and their lives. You can’t have love enter your life while you’re living in fear, because it’s at the opposite end of the energy vibration spectrum. So if you’re ready and willing to take on even more things to be afraid of, if you’re ready for more crap to hit the fan in your life, if you’re ready to attract even bigger and even badder things happening to you – then keep living in fear.

But, if you finally want to tell a different story about your life, you have to be willing to leave fear behind. You have to be willing to take that chance and embrace change. You have to be willing to open your arms and your heart to the possibility that things could be better, will be better, and don’t put a timeline on it. It’s all about divine timing. Release the fear and the ego, and open your heart to accepting things into your life with grace and ease – open your heart to love…by going with the flow!

First One for the New Year – 2017 is finally here!

Clearly you haven’t heard from me since last year, which was only a few weeks ago. I realize we’re already into the month of January, but this is clearly going to be a year of change, for me, for you, and for our country. Change is good, it means we’re still alive and not just merely existing. How we respond to change is what really matters though.

Are you angry when things change? Do you find yourself one who embraces change easily? Do you fight change every step of the way, trying desperately to keep things “status quo”? How you handle change can very easily become a starting point for you when evaluating where you’re vibration on that energy scale.

If you’re like me, then change is like water off a duck’s back. I’m a “go with the flow” kind of girl, my life is made easier to flow with the current than to fight it. Hence, the reason I have such a good attitude and am basically happy all the time. But those who choose to fight life, find everything in their lives a battle. Their relationships, their struggles with money, their inability to find a job that’s fulfilling, all these things play a major role in what they attract in their lives.

I’ve chosen to take this past month and a half and focus on two very important things to me – my family, and the book I’m currently writing. I seem to have found a niche with the writing, although I didn’t think it would be fun, which is why I’ve put it off for the last several years. But realizing when you have boys in the military, you cherish every moment you have with them, and I was blessed to have had them both home for the holidays.

The best advice I can give you to start off your year is find what makes you happy, deep down in your Heart Chakra and what you’re passionate about, deep down in your Solar Plexus Chakra, and then run with it. Allow and be open to change, as it may be necessary for you to do what you love and are naturally passionate about. When you’re vibrating from this place, everything will naturally fall into place for you. Enjoy your 2017, I know I intend to.
